The Beneficial Foundation is a registered Charity based in Portsmouth for 28 years, offering adults with learning difficulties, disabilities or who are disadvantaged, the Steps to Success training and work experience programme in Commerce & Industry and Horticulture.
TUTOR (FULL TIME)
The successful candidate will be able to develop and deliver our Steps to Success training/educational programme, working in both the Commerce & Industry and Horticulture areas. They should hold a relevant teaching qualification (i.e. Cert. Ed.).

VOLUNTEERS
We are looking for volunteers with skills in horticulture, arts and crafts to assist us with various exciting projects or help with fund raising activities.
We are now looking at holding regular workshops in various arts and crafts and are looking for volunteers with skills within these areas who are interested in holding a one off workshop or regular workshops.
We are also looking for volunteers who can help with the running of our Smoothie Bar, serving customers, making the smoothies and handling money, etc.
We are also looking for volunteers who have an interest in horticulture to help our Trainees within the Horticultural aspect of our Steps to Success Training Programme. This could involve assisting our Tutor with our Trainees whilst they carry out work on the commercial nursery or assisting our Horticultural Supervisor & Co-ordinator in our Garden Maintenance Scheme when they carry out general garden maintenance duties on various jobs.
