The Beneficial Foundation's Materials Bank and Craft Centre is one of the largest and most successful Scrap Stores within the UK, having a membership in excess of 1,000 groups, including schools, colleges, community and voluntary groups accessing its extensive range of donated products, including paper, fabric, plastics and many more non-toxic items. Members can reuse items for a small annual fee. The Centre also has a Craft Shop, which is open to non-members as well as members and a Cafe serving hot drinks and food.

The Centre also provides a working environment to provide valuable work experience to our Trainees and Volunteers, with the assistance of our staff, in a wide range of areas and activities. Overall helping to improve their confidence, self-esteem and communication skills, thus prevent social isolation.

We have 7 x different categories of membership, dependant upon the size and operation of your organisation, ranging from £15.00 to £350.00 (inc. VAT) for an annual membership. This is a one off fee paid every year, and entitles you to access the Materials Bank and its materials.
